EAGLETON

April 6th, 2024

Welcome to the Eagleton Trail Challenge, just outside of Lock Haven, PA - the trailrunning capital of the East Coast.
Have you been considering a trail 10km, 25km, or even 50km? Well, this is your chance to give it a try! This is a milder and more runnable course than some other local races, with less elevation change and less technicality!
Now don’t let that make you think that you can just show up and finish the race like it’s some local 5k road race. It still requires you to train and be fully prepared to meet the demands of a trail race. Enjoy beautiful trails in the springtime in the PA Wilds.

This 50K course will take trekkers from the starting area, passing along the Eagleton Road Demonstration Forest trail, and then to the first aid station @ the Eastern Trailhead of the Eagleton Mine Camp Trail. Following the course, trekkers will make way to the Western Trailhead, and along several other trails, eventually coming back into the Eastern Trailhead before hitting the return trail to the finish.

There are several stretches of the course, including the first & last 5km, which are fairly technical.  Most of the course is very runnable.
A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to local charity organizations & regional conservation funds.
