The Eastern States Trail-Endurance Alliance (ESTEA) is seeking a volunteer for the Eagleton Trail Challenge Trail Boss position.
The Trail Boss will:
Work closely with the Race Director (RD)
Perform necessary trail maintenance activities
Organize and lead other trail volunteers
Create a safe and welcoming environment for trail volunteers
Provide RD with updates on Eagleton course conditions, particularly leading up to race day
Be available to perform and/or organize “last minute” course maintenance before or on race day (April 6, 2024)
You do not need to be a trail expert. We are looking for someone who has a love for trails, is willing to teach and learn about trails, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. The Trail Boss will be provided with tools that may be needed for appropriate trail maintenance.
